Mini Garden Makers invites young explorers to dig into STEAM through hands-on gardening, art, and playful discovery. Campers will paint and plant their own pots, explore soil and water through sensory play, and observe how seeds grow day by day using their own garden journals. Through building, creating, and getting delightfully messy, children will develop curiosity and confidence as makers. Be ready to dig, create, and grow!

In this action-packed STEAM intercession camp, students will dive into the exciting world of comics and superheroes while exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Campers will design their own original superhero characters, create comic strips and graphic novels, and use real-world STEAM challenges to bring their stories to life.

From concept to costume, this camp blends art, engineering, and pop culture as participants design and fabricate their own cosplay pieces. Using real makerspace tools and digital fabrication techniques, campers will learn how makers turn ideas into wearable creations while exploring character design, materials, and creative problem-solving.

The GECU Foundation and La Nube STEAM Discovery Center are excited to offer scholarships for children and teens with different abilities to join our hands on STEAM camps. We want every child to have access to fun, inclusive learning experiences.
Who Can Apply
Children ages 6 to 17 with different abilities who can attend a 2026 La Nube Spring Camp.
What the scholarship includes:
Full camp tuition (Value of $425)
Morning care starting at 7:30AM
Camp programming from 10:00 M to 2:00PM
After care until 5:00PM
Daily lunch
